Excellent post. Especially loved the part where you talk about throwing out the 'For Sale' signs and possibly replacing it with this - “No loss-leading prices here; we charge what we’re worth, and you deserve to have our value, for you are worth us being better too. Very ingenious.

Rosa, you continue to help me set my sails well for the New Year, aware of the economic winds, but also aware of my worth and of those opportunities that are still there. Thankyou!

Aloha Sharon, thank you so much for your comment and your visit; I am happy to meet you. The sign would be quite cool, wouldn't it? The work to be done though, is mostly in the attitude and self-conviction that goes with it.

Aloha Pete, thank you for saying that, however we're all in it together, and I need reminding of the opportunities to be seized too, so I appreciate having you in my corner as well!

"The easiest way to stand solidly behind your prices is to illustrate your worth." Brilliant, Rosa! So, we have a bit more of an education job right now - and how much more fun is it to teach something as valuable as "worth" rather than scrambling to discount?!? (Think of all of the meanings of that word!)

Great thought Ann - an "education job" where there is quite a bit of learning for everyone involved! Thank you so much for your visit and your comment.
