Congratulations, Rosa! Trying also to go short and deep I often fail - there are so many things and pages with interesting content. But your article reminds me that it is better to read fewer articles more closely than to try to read as many as possible and forget their content when reading the next one.

One of the things bloggers talk about often Ulla, is hospitable writing - leaving room for readers to comment because we haven't written about something so conclusively and exhaustively. Good advice as far as Ho‘okipa (the value of hospitality) is concerned, however I personally find that if I read with the short and deep intention I will always find my own space somewhere there. It won’t always cause me to comment for the blogger because sometimes the space I’ve discovered has clicked into my own brain’s recesses in another context, but the result is that I have indeed “gone deep” in a much more satisfying way. I find that scanning and skimming is very unrewarding.
Thank you for your comment Ulla! It was so nice to catch you on Twitter this morning too :-)
