Wow - this is both awesome and relevant, Rosa. I live my life in pursuit of Ho‘ohana, and am not sure I have the attention span (intention span?) to get there. But I'm enjoying the journey.

Oh you do Dwayne [have the attention/intention span to get there] -we've known each other long enough that I can say that definitively, and with a sense of excitement and sweet anticipation for you in each and every step you take oh curious one! :)
You also bring up a key point: Ho‘ohana is a continual pursuit and way of living -it's not a one-stop shop, and as such, Ho‘ohana can add much joy to our day to day living, with the feeling we know where we are going (or where we need to be... sometimes it is a matter of remaining a bit longer, savoring before we rush on.)
