This is a great thought. People tend to be more hospitable when they don't think they are being taken advantage of. This translates well into your idea of preparation when presenting things to others, and respect when conducting a group discussion.

My goodness Reg, you have a wealth of wisdom (na‘auao) in your posting for us today, and yes, Ho‘ohanohano, to conduct oneself with distinction and dignity, is certainly one of them.
I certainly love the way our virtual talking stick is being passed amongst us this month!
