Thanks Rosa for this response to my tag- as always you are so willing to put yourself "out there" by expressing your thoughts and feelings so openly. There was so much to savor and absorb in this wonderful post! Thanks for your insights and much aloha to you!

You are most welcome Terry, it was good for me to think through writing this up. These rules have been in my head, and now I can keep myself focused with them better having taken the time to get them on the blog!

"Just who are you?" I first had a visual of Roger Daltrey and then one of CSI :-)
As I read your post here Rosa, I could feel you personally re-clarifying your thoughts.
I think with the post writing thing, the topic must resonate with our own self. If we try to be someone we're not, or if we try to write to please others, our message doesn't get through to those who we could really click with and won't impress those who we are trying to.

Ha! Now I'm going to have that CSI jingle in my head too Dave!
You know me well Dave, for this had been in drafts since the day Terry first tagged me, and it got written and re-written several times before I finally published it.
Keeping true to our own voices is hard enough at times, and ghost-writing aside, I can't imagine why anyone would write in a different way - or why they would even want to.
