Kūlia i ka nu‘u is about BHAGs

There is no mediocrity in BHAGs. This is warpath stuff.

Jim Collins says:

“… vision is one of the least understood-and most overused-terms in the language. Vision is simply a combination of three basic elements: (1) an organization’s fundamental reason for existence beyond just making money (often called its mission or purpose), (2) its timeless unchanging core values, and (3) huge and audacious—but ultimately achievable—aspirations for its own future (I like to call these BHAGs, or Big Hairy Audacious Goals). Of these, the most important to great, enduring organizations are its core values.”

We need to talk about this s’more.

The way I see it, it is way cool that Kūlia i ka nu‘u is about BHAGs and can be an organization’s core value all in one fell swoop.

It is way cooler that Kūlia i ka nu‘u is about BHAGs and can be a person’s core value all in one fell swoop.

In the MWA Language of Intention the BHAG Collins refers to is actually BHAO; Big Hairy Audacious (strategic) Objectives — embraced company-wide, one warpath.

The BHAGs are yours: Big Ho‘ohana Authentic Goals — individual, professional, and way way personal.

Mahalo Mr. Collins.
