I can just hear Zach admonishing you on your muscle terminology...too funny.
Thanks for the recommendation on how to kick my personal health program into gear. I don't find much cheer in working out and that's the reason that any attempts at a program are short lived. Looks like I need to find some joy in developing a good habit, rather than all these pesky bad habits I seem to have these days. Be well.

Congratulations on your sore muscles! I find the best trick for keeping myself motivated is changing my program around from time to time. One day I'll do aerobics, one day I'll go for a hike, another day I'll run, or try a marshall arts class. If I always do what I feel I never get bored, and I keep my mind active too :)

Jay you are right about mixing it up for physical reasons too: When I was still a corporate exec my Spa Director would constantly admonish me to stop being so routine with my exercise. He’d always say that other than the aerobic benefit I’d reach a point where my body was unresponsive to the repetition.
Chris, I envy the years you still have to get that great playtime exercise with your daughters - that’s real joy! At times Zach will run with me, and even though he dances around me and taunts me unmercifully about how “old and slow” I am, I must say I’ll really miss it when he’ll be away at college mere weeks from now. And he really pushes me: I get great workouts with him just because the conversation is so distracting!
