Both Good. Your judgement is impeccable. I especially like the postscript which encourages people to read the 'optimistic voices.' They say "no news is good news" but I think as citizen publishers we can choose to change that axiom ;)

Rosa,
I like the TalkingStoryBlog.com domain. I had the same issue when I tried to get businessthoughts.com, but had to settle on businessthoughtsblog.com.
The card idea is a great one and should help you get to know even more businesses and great people.
Very good idea.

I vote for the talkingstoryblog name, too.
And I like your idea of a card explaining what's a blog. Many people never heard of blogs yet, or if they had, never thought of how many ways you could use blogging.
I plan to start working on a more pro blog sooner or later, to develop a more established online presence, and not just some occasional thoughts and info bits. And I appreciate your strong commitment to the blog format, as a great model for how this could be done.
yours,
Sus

Rosa, I love it. Logistically, are you thinking of a postcard?
What a way to coach businesses. By handing the card to businesses, you're giving them the means to create something better for themselves. You give them the power to say "Yes, I want to grow what I have." It all starts with them.

Mahalo nui to everyone for your feedback (I’ve gotten a couple of emails too). This idea is sort of like a hatchling still in the nest, and I really appreciate hearing from all of you.
Yes Chris, I’m thinking a postcard. I’ve done a flyer before in a similar pilot program, using the flyer in the seminars and speeches I give, but it’s gotten lost in the stack of papers people get and it’s had too much information. I think a postcard will stand out a bit more, be more durable, and have some double or triple-duty uses.
And I have two goals with it (the jury’s still out if I’m attempting to do too much):
1. Encourage people to raise their game in the service they provide, and
2. Encourage more blog reading as a whole.
