Rosa - I too read today an article that provided an excerpt from Senator John McCain's book and I remembered your theme for the month. A quick search on the internet resulted in tons of quotes on courage...I particularly liked this one:

This one, in particular, I am familiar with. I live with this one all the time... as a manager and even after 25 years of management experience.
No matter how many times you have gone through similar managerial moments before, every time is like the first time. And that's not necessarily bad...to be scared keeps you sharp and on your toes.
What the years of management experience gives you is the ability to fool everyone else around you. And the more experience you have, the better job you can do of it.
There is no courage without fear.

Good choice on the quote Doug!
Mahalo for sharing your mana'o; looking back on my own experience I can remember when a degree of fear kept me sharp - it kept me alert to the best opportunity to overcome it, and get the job done well. Yet I also smile to myself now, remembering how I had to hide my apprehension from others, especially those who needed to feel I was way more confident than I was if they were to follow my lead!
