My first interview on my book, Managing with Aloha

… was published yesterday in Pacific Business News. Very nice people there, and wow, they were very generous with their coverage … do the very famous ever get used to seeing their picture in print? My mahalo to Terrence Sing, the gentleman who interviewed me: I’m amazed at how much of our telephone conversation he managed to transcribe! I’ll provide you with a link later if we make the online edition that follows.

Meanwhile, I have to share this wonderful quote a kind and good friend sent me tucked in the flurry of congratulatory emails I received when the print edition hit the newsstands, knowing me as well as she does …

“Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.” —Dr. Seuss

And never, ever, would I think to question Dr. Seuss.

Mahalo plenty to everyone for the nice notes I've been receiving in my inbox.

P.S. The book’s release date has been set for November 19 in bookstores through-out Hawaii.
Orders are being taken online now by Island Heritage, at WelcomeToTheIslands.com. You can take the Managing with Aloha link in the left column for a book summary, and I'll post the launch event calendar in early November.
