Kākou in Pictures; an October 2007 Flashback
Nov. 1 Update ... Learning as we go!
Mahalo nui to John Richardson for his suggestion that I add the photo album screenshots below!
Are you working through your 5-Beat Rhythm for Kākou?
Here is some added incentive that may be a bit more fun for you ... I’m all for fun in the work we do, and I had healthy scoops of fun putting this Kākou resource together for you!
It’s an October flashback in pictures :)
One of my long-time goals has been to learn more about photography. This may be easy for others, but not for me. As visual as I am, the composition part is not that difficult, it’s the equipment learning that still eludes me, including the graphic software skills in presenting it to you.
Thankfully, blogging platforms do present some easy-to-use options, and there are very generous photographers out there who will post their work online with a Creative Commons license (like I have on my blogs) permitting use of their work with proper credit. Click on any of the photos I post on both Managing with Aloha Coaching and Joyful Jubilant Learning and you will be taken to the web pages of these talented artists. Most are from Flickr, and you can find many more visual delights when you click on the photo streams for each photographer.
To say thank you to these web-generous artists again, and to showcase their work in another way for you as you work through your month’s debriefing, here is a recap of my October 2007 postings on the value of Kākou in pictures. On each individual album page is a little hint as to the posting they originally came from given to you in snippet-captions. There will be two links below each caption; the first to the article I had written, and the second to either the photographer or web page I snagged the photo from.
This cutie starred in one of my favorites this month, a photo appropriately called FOCUS!

For example, if you want to check if you guessed the right article for each caption, Right Click to open new browser tabs or windows, and you won’t lose the album itself - it will stay open and not be replaced.

Rosa, it's brilliant! I love it!
I can't wait to see if I can do something similar myself - what an inspiration you are :-)
